If you don't have hundreds of ancient seeds saved, just auto farm with ur skellies on a greydwarf spawner until you get hundreds. I already had ancient seeds tho. The elder trick is honestly better on blood magic lvl1-30(super fast) because the elder survives longer. When i run out of ancient seeds i go back to the greydwarf spawner to auto lvl until i get a lot of seeds again.

Edit
kill off all the melee skeletons until you have 2 archers. boss is resistant to pierce so it lives a lot longer vs bows even at lvl56.
