We took to the streets of Bellville in collaboration with Greater Tygerberg Partnership to improve pedestrian safety and bring infrastructure to life.
With the help of the Cape Town Carnival, we brought the green crossing light to life to dance, to bring traffic to a stop and let Bellville know that people matter. This short-term project included creative paintwork, repairs and improvements to safety. Long term measures included signal crossing upgrades and a speed reduction effort to see this portion of street safer for all road users.
