Touch Version: Shows you how to override deliveries

Hi this is John from PaperRound and today I’ll show you how to override deliveries on the touch version.
Sometimes you need to override the default delivery options.
Click on the order tab. Click on the publication that needs to be overridden. Then click on the pencil button.
If the customer wishes to collect the paper on specific days, move the dot to either Save - Cash if they are paying for the title when they collect it, or Save - Acc if they need the cost to be added to their account. You can do this for whichever day or days are required. Tap the green tick to save
If the publication’s default is to be delivered in the Morning, it can be overridden to Evening by moving the relevant dot. This also works in reverse if you have an Evening title that you wish to deliver in the morning for a specific customer. Tap the green tick to save.
If you have a weekly paper that you need to deliver on a non-standard day, click the Delivery Day and select the day you will actually deliver it. Tap the green tick to save. This is particularly useful for customers who receive deliveries only at the weekend who also want the weekly paper or magazine delivered with their weekend paper.
Click on Page 2 for additional override options. If you wish to add a time restriction move the slide to Yes. This is often used when customers order the Racing Post for Cheltenham but can also be used when customers want an additional product for a certain period of time. Enter the Start Date and End Date. Then tap the green tick to save. The selected title will appear on the round sheets between the dates selected and then will automatically cease.
If you deliver a publication that is a firm order where you can’t return it to the wholesaler, you can select Firm Order. Click the green tick to save. Once a publication is set to Firm Order it will always appear on the round sheet even if the customer is on holiday.
