Pro-Touring 1969 Camaro "Lou's Change" Show Car Paint Job at V8 Speed and Resto Shop

This video shows how to paint a car using base coat and clear automotive paint. The car is a custom 1969 Camaro called "Lou's Change", a pro-touring Camaro restoration. The video shows how to paint color and clear, and also how to lay out 1969 Camaro SS stripes, mask the stripes, and paint the stripes on the Camaro. The show car paint job is done at the V8 Speed and Resto Shop.

The Pro-Touring 1969 Camaro called “Lou’s Change” goes back into the paint booth for the layout and spraying of the black stripes in accordance with the Steinhauser Design rendering. The crew uses FBS stripe masking tape for a precise layout. In this video, we’ll see:

- Laying Out Stripe Design
- Masking with FBS Stripe Tapes
- Spraying Stripes with SATA Spraygun and Axalta Black Basecoat
