EA FC 24 free kicks with using the cross, instead of the standard finishing. This is an interesting method of scoring free kick goals. Here I'm doing it with Cristiano Ronaldo. It's optimal to use a great passer for this, preferably with passing playstyles.

I included how to aim for these kicks - to create trivela and swerve free kicks. And how much power to use. To get such a low shot power, you just tap the 🎮 cross button. This button is Square on PlayStation. And X on Xbox, Y on Switch.

When using the crossing button, it's better to use low power. But you can use max power, especially with swerve kicks, if you perform a low free kick. For trivela free kicks low shot power is better, as otherwise the ⚽ often goes over the net.

To practice free kicks in EA SPORTS FC 24, go to the Learn To Play and open the Skill Games. In this mode you can practice in-game set piece scenarios, which is great for getting better at free kicks.

This skills practicing is available in previous FIFA's also. In past versions of the game you'll find the Skill Games section from the Quickplay Modes.
