A 280km hiking trail composed of rural roads, and forest paths crossing from the Atlantic Ocean ( Mar Caribe) to the Pacific Ocean. A challenging hike traversing through several different microclimates, primary forests, indigenous territories and small villages. It is an off the beaten path adventure for intermediate and advanced hikers. It serves as a motor for economic development for rural families providing a new source of income and a stimulus for the development of micro-enterprises.
