Eyedropper tool allows the selection of color from image.
Select eyedropper tool from toolbar. You can click anywhere on the sample to get a point sample.
The foreground color will be changed to match the selected color. The range of sample area can be changed by selecting from drop down list.
The average of pixel color within the area will be shown on left side. Eyedropper can be used outside the Photoshop window. Click anywhere outside the window. The foreground color will be changed.
