BUXTON is a spa town in the Borough of High Peak in Derbyshire, England. It is England's highest market town at some 1,000 feet (300 m). It lies close to Cheshire to the west and Staffordshire to the south on the edge of the Peak District National Park.
MATLOCK is the County Town of Derbyshire and is located in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales within the Derwent Valley. With the Peak District National Park only a few miles to the North, Matlock is popular with visitors enjoying the countryside and the amenities the town has to offer. The Town is twinned with Eaubonne in France and has a population of around 10,000 people.
