In this section of the webinar, Dr. Elise Belknap, early childhood mental health consultant with the Champaign County Regional Planning Commission, describes the Champaign County Head Start Program’s efforts to promote equitable social and emotional development for students. Dr. Belknap described how Champaign County Head Start teachers work to build relationships and provide safe environments for all students, in addition to providing intensive supports to students and families as needed. This webinar was hosted by Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Midwest.
