STORYLINE:
Thousands of people gathered in Mexico City to watch a parade that kicks off the Christmas season, called Bolo Fest.
Bolo, who is a polar bear, was accompanied by giant balloons, musicians and Santa Claus.
The nostalgic atmosphere allowed older people to feel like children again, said parade-goer Carolina.
"The balloons are very pretty. You feel the whole Christmas vibe. It reminds me a lot of my childhood because there are toys that I used when I was a child. The truth is that I am very excited to come and remember old times."
