How do I customize my doorbell?
Not a fan of the chimes that come equipped with your doorbell? We get it. Fortunately, it’s easy to customize a Honeywell Series 9 Doorbell. Let’s get you started:
To begin, you’ll want to connect a USB cable into the doorbell, then plug into a desktop or laptop computer. Using your computer, you’ll want to copy the tune you want to use (MP3 format only) onto the doorbell. You’ll see that the doorbell connects to your computer like a jump drive and is easily found on your desktop. You’ll now want to locate the tune you’ll be using for your doorbell. Click on the mp3 file and drag it into the usb connected device. Once you’ve done this, you can remove the doorbell from your computer. You can now press the music button located on your doorbell until you hear the tune you’ve selected.
Can I customize my door chimes as well?
Yes! You can also personalize chimes as well. To do this, press a push button down and then within 12 seconds press the music button on the doorbell to find the tune you’d like to select.
