This video has first; the announcement from the radio shop from D1 patrol using a "true" provoice radio and a crosspatched transmission from D2 patrol which is from the new P25P2 system.
HPD has now pulled the plug and cut off any P25P2 transmission that crosspatches to the EDACS system.
I truly dislike their decision for this but there are other talkgroups on this system that are clear and other trunked radio systems to scan around Oahu.

You are not going to be able to listen to the modern P25 system due to AES 256-Encryption.
I don't agree with the City and County's decision to go fully silent on the public by encryption. It's quite ironic that the Federal PACMERS radio system here mostly transmits w/o encryption yet, Honolulu County's radio system is nearly fully encrypted.
Police, Fire, EMS, and Ocean Safety have already transitioned to the modern P25 Phase 2 system.
The last HFD transmission I heard was back in March 2021 whereas the last HPD was back in February 15 2022
