If you saw my last video, you'll have seen me take a monster 35 hour journey, and this is where I ended up. And it was definitely worth it! Turkistan is a very historic place and important pilgrimage site too for kazakh muslims. it has many preserved historic buildings including the unesco world heritage site mausoleum of a revered sufi holy man. In this video i try to show you as much as possible - things didn't really go to plan though, as my memory card corrupted and it was way too windy for me to vlog properly but I hope you can get an idea of how fascinating this city is.
