President Mohammadu Buhari has flagged off the construction of three important projects in Ogoni land, South South Nigeria.
The projects are Centre of Excellence for Environmental Restoration, Ogoni Power Project and the Ogoni 100-Bed Specialist Hospital.
President Buhari during the virtual ground breaking ceremony in Wiiyakara in Khana Local Government Area said the projects will bring Sustainable Livelihood and socio economic development of Ogoni in Rivers and the neighbouring states in the Niger Delta region.

The Minister of Environment, Mohammed Abdullahi noted that the construction of the projects will address the age long agitations of the people of the Niger Delta

And the Hyprep Coordinator, Giadom Dumbari said the projects will address their plight and bring succour to the Niger Delta region.

While appealing to the Ogonis to cooperate with the companies and hyprep, President Buhari assured the people that the projects will be completed in due time.
