SHRI SAI SATCHARITRA.
Chapter 24/50 "Baba's Wit and Humour - Chana Leela. (1) Hemadpant. (2) Sudama. (3) Anna Chinchanikar vs.Maushibai.

By worshipping Sai Baba, we attain both the objects - worldly & spiritual. We get peace & happiness. Therefore, those who want to accomplish their welfare should respectfully hear Sai Baba's Leelas and meditate on them. They will easily attain the object of life and get Bliss.
Baba had a peculiar way of conveying serious messages in a humorous manner. His method was very interesting and instructive. Upon hearing The Chana Leela, one realizes that, the guidance Baba gave via these witty incidents was always very deep and important for our progress.
In this particular simple story, there are 3 DEEP ROOTED MORALS,
(1) Always remember that Sai Baba is with us 24/7.
(2) Eat nothing without offering it first to Baba.
(3) Baba has directly advised that, before the senses, mind & intellect enjoy their objects, He should be remembered, and if this be done the attachment for them will naturally vanish. Even our subtle thoughts i.e. Desire, Anger, Avarice , when offered to Guru, the Lord will help us in eradicating all the Vrittis. Also, in doing so, object not fit to be enjoyed will be shunned & our vices will disappear. When this knowledge grows, the bondage of body-consciousness will snap & our intellect will be merged in spirit-consciousness. (that we are souls- Aatma). Thus we shall get bliss and contentment. Shri Sai Satcharitra, throughout re-endorses the Importance of Guru. It tells us that there is no difference between Guru & God. He who sees any difference in them, finds God nowhere. If we serve our Guru, God will be certainly pleased & by purifying our minds will give us self-realisation.

There is reference to the well known story of Lord Krishna & Sudama.

Baba also solves an argument, between 2 of His beloved bhaktas, by giving it a shade of mother's love.

Towards the end of the chapter Baba very strongly gives out the message that His relationship with each devotee is individualistic, and NO ONE has the right to interfere. He is capable of gauging the merit and worth of service rendered unto Him.
