Arriving at the new lake at 1pm, Carp were visible cruising on the surface on the far side of the lake. After getting round there the fish were easily visible on the top but seemed very out of sorts. They were all going in the same direction so I followed them up to the shallows - they were spawning!!
New plan needed, so I decided to drive back to the syndicate lake and see if they were spawning there too - they were'nt! I found a few fish that started feeding well as soon as I put some floaters in. Awkward conditions but I managed to fool one!
