I created this unorthodox modification to the traditional 4 x Flying Geese construction method while making my Sawtooth Star Zombie Quilt Project ([ Ссылка ]) where I made more than 400 flying geese for the quilts produced. That's a whole geese migration and then some.
In the Modified Barn Star Quilt, I have to make 120 FG units. Using Studio 180's Wing Clipper Tool and sizing method couple with my glue basting preference, I found that I could speed my production and incorporate smart phasing by pre-cutting my units before I sew them.
I also share some useful tips throughout for glue basting, sewing and pressing.
