In a recent video posted to Twitter, Emad al-Moubayed, a Saudi Arabian cleric, said he had left the country for a safe location.
This comes after concerns were raised regarding his safety after he previously tweeted a video criticising recent reforms in the kingdom and advised those in power to "fear God".
In his recent video, he expressed the wisdom behind leaving the country and encouraged other clerics and activists who want to speak out against the Saudi government to do the same.
Many Islamic clerics are against the changes that have been happening in the kingdom in recent years but Saudi Arabia has been using cybercrime laws to muffle political dissent and silence critics.
