Today I am trying out some Akua Intaglio Inks for the first time.
My aim was to make some botanical prints on deli paper to use as collage in canvas.
I was quite disappointed with the lack of detail but sorted the problems towards the end of the video.
What I learned:
1. Only add a small amount of ink to the gel plate.
2. Don’t use deli paper with ink on it unless it has dried. This can take quite a while.
3. Copy paper works really well, as would cartridge paper.
