Here is the answer to why your grass may be dying in the fall. Green army worms eat the roots of your grass quickly and make it look like it has been sprayed with Roundup.

In order to take care of them you need to buy Bifen (link below), mix with water and follow the label rate. Spray it at least twice within a few weeks and it should take care of the problem.

Army worms are known to come out in the fall and are especially bad on the East Coast this September 2021. Take care of them quickly if you are then after testing with Dawn Dish Soap.
