2. SOUNDBITE (English) Barack Obama, US President:
"This morning we focused on our shared security, starting in Europe. We agreed that the international community needs to continue supporting Ukraine with robust assistance as it pursues economic and political reforms. Along with our international partners we strongly support the Minsk agreements and we agree that both Russia and the Ukraine must fulfil all the obligations under these agreements."

4. SOUNDBITE (English) Barack Obama, US President:
"We continue to support UN efforts to form a unity government (in Libya). Given Italy's leadership role across the Mediterranean the Prime Minister and I agreed to work together even more intensively to encourage cooperation on threats coming from Libya including the growing ISIL (Islamic State group) presence there as well as additional coordination with other partners in how we can stabilise what has become a very deadly and difficult situation."

6. SOUNDBITE (English) Barack Obama, US President:
"It is clearly the top priority of both our peoples and that is creating a strong, inclusive economy that is creating jobs and opportunity on both sides of the Atlantic. Like me, Prime Minister Renzi is a strong supporter of TTIP, the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, which would boost both jobs and exports in Europe and the United States and would include strong protections for workers, public health and safety and the environment. Now that Congress is considering important bipartisan legislation for trade promotion authority, TTIP negotiations need to make major progress this year."

8. SOUNDBITE (Italian) Matteo Renzi, Italian Prime Minister:
"As a partner and ally, I can only praise the work carried out by the United States of America in the complex Cuban situation, not only a historical passage for the American people and the Cuban people but also an extraordinary occasion for the whole world, and in the Iranian situation in which the European Union has cooperated and will continue to cooperate, in order for the framework agreement to be finalised by June 30th."

10. SOUNDBITE (Italian) Matteo Renzi, Italian Prime Minister:
"If you look at the last 7 years, 2008-2015, the American economy has seen the number of those unemployed decrease and the GDP (gross domestic product) increase. The European economy has seen has seen the number of those unemployed increase and the GDP decrease. Something at home has not worked. For these reason, I consider the work of the American administration as a model for European economy, and I believe that we have to take the budget and the commitments we've undertaken very seriously, but a new season of growth and investments is also needed."
