Tangos A La Gorra, are milongas in which you contribute as much as you can to dance at the milonga in a relax environment, sometimes they will have Tango teachers an hour before the milonga, you may have to pay a fix price for the class, pay A La Gorra for the class or it can be free too. Ask the teacher so you will know .The cabeceo can be done from afar or just ask her to dance close to her and nobody will think nothing wrong about it, this last one will not be well look at it at some very traditional milongas. You can wear tennis shoes and in some cases shorts and it will be okay. In this milongas most cabeceos will be accepted with very few non takers and if the he/she wants, can invite the he/she to dance and this is something that even in the traditionally tangos is accepted now. Some of these milongas start early and others late and finish until really late into the night or early in the morning. Most of this milongas are done in parks in an outdoor environment and a very few are done inside as this may increase the cost of the milonga. There are free milongas in Buenos Aires and some of them are promoted by the city of B.A. and the ones that are not, just support them by consuming what food or drinks are offering. I really enjoyed going to this milongas where you can see people of all tango levels and ages having fun in which everybody dances.
