In this quick and easy crispy shallots video i'll guide through the steps. It is one of my favorite things to add to pasta, chicken, salads, or fish dishes. It’s really simple technique to make the crispiest delicious shallots. I like to also use the aromatic shallot oil for salad dressings or to drizzle over roasted vegetables.

Easy Crispy Shallots
3 ea Shallots
Vegetable or Canola Oil To Cover (I used 10 oz)
Salt To Taste
Slice the shallots with a mandoline or knife and cover with a neutral oil like vegetable oil. Make Sure the oil is room temperature, heat on medium and stir continually throughout the cooking process.
Once the shallots start to turn golden brown strain them and season with salt, lay on a paper towel to soak up excess oil.
Use the fragrant shallot oil in dressings and on roasted vegetables.
The universal language of food doesn’t discriminate against age, background, or economic standing, but gives us a way to communicate on the most primal level.
