Social Democratic Party leader Olaf Scholz has become Germany's new Chancellor, replacing Angela Merkel.
Scholz will lead a three-party government with the Greens and the liberal FDP.
He faces several challenges, including a fourth wave of the coronavirus and tensions at Europe's borders.
