Ganga peak / Ganga peak winter trek. Ganga peak is situated in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan, near Bagh. Height of the peak is 10000 feet. It can be accessed from Sudhan Gali, 50 minutes' drive from Bagh. A basic level guest house is available at Sudhan Gali where you can get limited items of food. 2 1/2-hour trek from Sudhan Gali takes you to base camp and then it’s another 2 hours hike from there. Last part of the trek is quite hard and steep and there is a lot of slipping specially when it’s covered in snow. Views from the top are breathtaking and you can see valleys and peaks of mountains both on Pakistan side of Kashmir as well as Indian. Winter festival is held regularly that includes snow hike in February.
