This easy vegan dish is the best alternative to orange chicken. We use crispy oven-baked tofu coated in a sticky, sweet and sour orange sauce. It's tasty, tangy, and delicious.
⭐️ Ingredients
OVEN-BAKED TOFU
16 ounces ( 450 grams) tofu firm or extra firm
1 tablespoon (15 grams) olive oil
1 tablespoon (15 grams) soy sauce
1 tablespoon (7 grams) corn starch
ORANGE SAUCE
½ cup (120 grams) orange juice
1 teaspoon orange zest
1 teaspoon ginger grated
1 clove garlic grated
2 tablespoons (25 grams) sugar
2 tablespoons (30 grams) soy sauce reduced salt
1 tablespoons (15 grams) vinegar rice vinegar or white vinegar
1 tablespoon (7 grams) corn starch
¼ cup (120 grams) water
SERVING SUGGESTION
4 cups (650 grams) cooked rice
3 tablespons spring onions
