In this video I compare two Morakniv companion knives, one made from carbon steel and the other of stainless, to find which steel has better edge retention. We'll be applying several sharpness tests on materials like carpet, as well as batoning to see how long these knives hold an edge. This video doesn't ultimately decided which Morakniv is best, but which one will stay sharp the longest. This knife can be used for bushcraft, camping, carving and whittling, and any other outdoor application.
