On September 12-13, 2022, The Lenfest Institute hosted its Reimagining Philadelphia Journalism Summit (#ReimaginePHLJournalism), which built upon the insights and hopes that surfaced during the 2020 BEYOND Summit. Over 200 people attended the event to affirm the pressing need for news organizations that reflect and serve communities, center listening, and shift the posture of our news organizations to one of belonging.

Reimagining Revenue: Sustainability Panel looked at BIPOC news and information media organizations to explore how they are supporting themselves while discussing ways to improve and further sustainable practices across various platforms. Temple University's Aron Pilhofer facilitated a conversation between LoveNow Media/Philadelphia Media Founders Exchange's Jos Duncan Asé, URL Media's S. Mitra Kalita and Sarah Lomax-Reese, and Local Media Association/Word in Black's Andrew Ramsammy.
