DIRECTIONS: Take South Kihei Road through Kihei, or take the upper by-pass road (Hwy. 31) to where the two roads interesect with the Shops Of Wailea. Go south on Wailea Alanui Road past the Grand Wailea and Four Seasons Resorts. As you pass the Fairmont Kea Lani, take the right turn just past the resort entrance. Go down the hill. Take a left at the dead end (Polo Beach parking is to your right) and head south on Makena Road. You'll see White Sand Beach on your right. Look for the porta-pottie.

After White Sand Beach, continue south to the stop sign at the intersection with Makena Alanui Road. Turn right. Look for your first parking lot of 10 cars on the right-hand side. If you go past the "Makena Surf" resort sign and entrance, you've gone too far. But, there are small parking lots on both the north and south side of the Makena Surf resort. Look for a vacancy at either parking lot.
