This Titan 2983 is a Flat Deck Mold Upender with a capacity of upending an 88,000 lb mold, custom designed to sit flat. The upend process requires raising one half of the upender 90° and then loading the tool against the raised half. The operator, using a pedestal mounted control panel, next rotates both halves simultaneously which rotates or 'upends' the tool 90° to allow for servicing. This Titan was painted Safety Orange to our customer's specification.
