Suzuki has officially announced their latest adventure motorbike, the V-Strom 160, which is intended as an entry-level alternative for adventure motorcycle enthusiasts. This motorbike might be regarded the younger sister of the Suzuki V-Strom SX 250, which was introduced earlier.

The V-Strom 160 was initially introduced in Colombia, South America, and instantly drew notice with its sporty and aggressive style, but it also features a small body that allows riders to easily navigate diverse terrains.

Design and Features. The Suzuki V-Strom 160 has a contemporary design, with stacked headlights that provide a forceful image. With a windshield and the usual beak of a sport adventure motorbike, this motorcycle appears equipped to meet a variety of problems on the streets, both in metropolitan areas and on mild off-road trails.

Engine Performance The V-Strom 160 is equipped with a 160 cc SOHC engine, single cylinder, with an injection system. This engine is capable of producing peak power of 14.75 hp at 8,000 rpm and maximum torque of 14 Nm at 6,500 rpm. With a 5-speed manual transmission, this motorbike is claimed to have a smooth and responsive engine character, very suitable for everyday trips or light adventures.
