Reuters reported that according to a dozen sources the SBA approved multiple loans to thousands of small businesses due to a "snafu" in the system. As a result, a number of businesses received 2 or more PPP loans, due to applying at multiple lenders - leading to extra disbursement in the amount of approximately hundreds of millions of dollars.
