Is Pod too good for Modern? What if it got unbanned? Aspiringspike and myself continue our testing of modern banned cards. While you can't prove anything over a few leagues worth of games, you can certainly learn some stuff and adjust your opinion accordingly.
A couple brewers aren't going to "solve" what the stock list would look like exactly, which is why we test a few different versions. Not perfect, but a step up from pure theorycrafting and circular arguments.
The goal here is to get a sense of: 1- Is pod fun to play with/against, and is it an interesting addition to the format? and 2- Does this feel ok power-wise? The actual games where pod lands means more than the overall records of the decks, because sometimes pod doesn't even get drawn.
Gauntlet is composed of the 5 top decks in Modern, same as the twin series.
