In 2005 and 2006, members of EAA Chapter 610 In New Carlisle, Ohio, made a series of flight tests with their replica Wright Model B. The airplane was a duplicate of the only surviving original Wright Model B, which had been restored in New Carlisle in 2003. Other than a Model A Ford engine, seat belt, stick-and-rudder controls, and modern fabric, the replica retained the features of the original: wing warping for roll control, no brakes, no instruments, and no instruction manual. The pilots were Don Stroud and Don Gum.
