Tthe A470 in mid-wales:- because of the high quality of road engineering, the fabulous mountain views and , though hardly visible on the left, just past the The Holt (where Greggs are) the River Wye, which is just so beautiful here.
The drive begins by going over the river Wye at Newbridge, and ends at the other side of Rhayadar with its wonderfully nonsensical, confusing, clocktower & unique junction, though it does work mostly well. Summer 2020.
