As per the latest news on Times Now, Ashok Gehlot linked the increase in murders to rape cases. He said that rapist realize a victim will testify against them and that's why rapist commits both crimes of rape and murder.
"Due to the law on the hanging of culprits after the Nirbhaya case, the incidents of murder after rape have increased. This is a dangerous trend being seen in the country: Rajasthan CM and Congress leader Ashok Gehlot in Delhi.
"The statement by Ashok Gehlot where he blames the strict rape laws and not the rapist for the murders that take place after rape shows the mindset of the Congress party," said BJP Spokesperson, Shehzad Poonawalla.
"I support him and what the culprits think that why to leave behind evidence, that is true, we are dealing with the society, and BJP people are not concern about the life of the people and dignity of the people.", Says Udit Raj, Congress Leader.
