Here's a simple little trick on how to remove your dash cam from the sticky adhesive (usually 3M) on your windshield. Sometimes they are very hard to get off and it's just stuck on there good! Instead of trying to use muscle or a tool to scrap or wedge it off potentially damaging your windshield or even cracking it, try this simple tip. All you need is some dental floss or fishing wire would be good. I would also recommend wearing gloves to give you better grip and to protect your fingers as fine string can hurt when applying pressure. Simply wrap it around and behind the dash cam or mount and start sawing it through back and forth. You don't have to completely cut through it all. You just need to do it enough so that you can remove it with your hands by using a twisting action.

Once you have removed it, you'll still have the adhesive stuck on your windshield. Now you can use a little bit of sticker remover or WD40 and use a thing scraper or razor blades to just scrape it off. Be sure to also spray some windshield or window cleaner after to remove any leftover residue or sticky stuff.
