On April 5, 2022, faculty and staff as well as family and friends of Dr. Bruce McLarty gathered in Cone Chapel to reveal his presidential portrait that will be displayed in the David B. Burks American Heritage building among other Harding presidents. Artist and 2008 alumnus Joshua Granberg focused on capturing the essence of Dr. McLarty — joyful, approachable, humble and peaceful.
