For 16 to 24 year olds, the average pension pot is £2,700. For 25 to 35 it’s £9,300. For 35 to 44 it’s £30,000. For 45 to 54 it’s £75,500 and for 55 to 64 it’s £107,300.

However, most of us aren't saving enough for retirement, and the average is far less than recommended.
