He is on 40-day parole after being released from Haryana's Sunaria jail. BJP leader and Mayor of Karnal Renu Bala Gupta attended the online Satsang.
According to media reports, when asked about her visit Mayor defended it, saying that the city's people and her deputy mayor had called her to attend the event.
