Released record limited to 99 copies and ‘released’ in 1969. This has gone on to become one of the rarest and most sought after psych LP’s in the world with only a handful of surviving copies and it truly is a fantastic LP. Chance to listen to a direct lift from the original release.
Often described as a mix between The Zombies classic ‘Odessey & Oracle’ and The Beach Boys ‘Pet Sounds’ with great harmonies, song writing and melody, this concept LP also has a couple of heavy psych tracks such as ‘Better Things Are Bound To Come’ and ‘The Dreamer Flies Back’. Really a must listen for all fans of such music.
The Love Cycle was recorded in the summer of 1968 at a makeshift studio, located in the basement of a music shop. Consisting of a song-suite revolving around the meeting, courtship and break-up of a young couple, the result is a stunning album filled with heavenly vocal harmonies, electric harpsichord and memorable hooks, including some intense psych moments.
