In this video, I'll show you how to measure high voltage (a couple of thousand volt) from a transformer of microwave oven. As you might have known, AC test range for a multi-meter can only test below 1000 volt so it seems there was no way for a multi meter would be used for this occasion however a multi-meter can be used indirectly to get the result you want.
