📱 Why Samsung's One UI 7.0 Beta Update is Delayed: Insider Info! 📱
The One UI 7.0 beta update was initially scheduled for a July release, but it has been delayed multiple times since then. Initially expected to roll out by late August, Samsung decided to postpone it further to fix more bugs. And they’re not alone—Google has also pushed back the release of the stable Android 15 update for Pixel devices. Many Android users were hoping for a stable Android 15 update next month, but it looks like we’ll have to wait a bit longer. According to Android Authority, Google won’t be releasing the stable Android 15 update for Pixel smartphones and tablets in September as previously expected. Instead, the update is now set for October 2024, mirroring last year’s release timing for Android 14 in October 2023. Given that Google launched its new Pixel devices two months earlier this year, they weren't able to roll out a new Android version alongside the latest phones. Last year, Google launched Android 14 and the Pixel 8 series simultaneously. Since Google is considered the gold standard for Android updates and won't release Android 15 until October, it’s understandable that Samsung is taking extra time to ensure a smooth rollout for the One UI 7.0 beta program. Recently, Ice Universe shared a screenshot on Twitter, revealing that internal testing of One UI 7.0 is still ongoing. He noted that the X8 version was discovered just a few minutes before and mentioned that it will take some more time before the beta version is ready.
