The 3 year resto-mod restoration of my 1985 Honda ATC250R is finally wrapping up. I believe this is the second to last video before it is finally done! We're using a lot of awesome products from great people and great friends in the three wheeler community. I've just installed new replica tires from Serwa Tires. Multiple products from ATD-ATC, like the grab bar, front axle and spacers, and the plastic grommets on the frame where the rear fender bracket catches. I'm putting on a new front master cylinder from Mike Palmgren at Vintage Motorsports, also the handlebars, front and rear brake hoses, and not to mention Mike is the reason the engine looks so good! I've got foot pegs that will be installed that came from Rob Wicks at Wicked Metal Designs... and I'm sure I'm forgetting other parts.
A big part of this video is me battling the rear axle, a Durablue that I bought back in 1997. It worked fine with the OEM carrier, but I just think it wasn't designed to work with these aftermarket carriers that probably came out years later. That was a tough one but we made it through!
In the end of this video I announce 2 giveaways. A Serwa Tires TRX 250R rear grab bar, and an ATD-ATC pair of first gen 200X tank mount bolts. Watch the video all the way through to learn how to win those things!
That being said, enjoy and stay tuned for the completion of this project!!
