A community in Limpopo is using the fruits from famed indigenous trees to fight poverty and unemployment. Women in Muswodi village outside Musina harvest baobab fruit and Marula nuts and sell them to a food processing factory in Pretoria. The nutritious baobab fruit is used in a range of consumer products such as snack bars, breakfast cereals and smoothies.
