This event looked at how support is provided to researchers at risk/with refugee background in Germany. The speakers introduce available support on national level and matchmaking programmes with employers from the research landscape - from universities and non-university institutions. Also, they shared experiences and introduced institutional support structures and initiatives on a concrete example of a German university and how to successfully integrate as a researcher with refugee background into the German research labour market.
