Strawberry Kefir Smoothie:
2 cups plain kefir
1 cup frozen strawberries
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Maple syrup to taste
This makes about 4 cups
Blueberry Banana Kefir Smoothie:
2 cups plain kefir
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 or 2 bananas
6 cubes of ice
This makes about 5 cups
Peanut Butter Banana Kefir Smoothie:
1 1/2 cups plain kefir
1 banana
1/8 cup peanut butter, or to taste
Honey to taste
12 ice cubes
This makes about 4 cups
I like to use either chia seeds, ground flax seed or prebiotic powder in my kefir smoothies.
