This Place Exists In Meghalaya 😯 | Double Decker Living Root Bridge | Unseen Nongriat Village
Hello Ji Namaste,
Welcome To Our Channel Two Vagabond Monks. We are Ankur & Shalini, a couple who loves to travel and make cinematic travelogues with an essence of stroytelling for you all. In this video, we did a very challenging trek of an unbelievable place in Meghalaya - The Double Decker Living Root Bridge located in Nongriat Village of Cherrapunji in Meghalaya. This trek starts from Tyrna Village and overall you need to cover 7000 stairs, 15000 steps and 10 km to complete the trek. Due to heavy rainfall through out the year, so iron bridges couldn't be any option, so the villlagers came up with an amazing idea of bridges from the roots of rubber trees so that they can be eco friendly and sustainable. Over years these bridges become more strong with the growing roots. You will get to see our entire journey throughout..
