Wuling Bingo Is A Cheap Chinese EV But How Good Can It Really Be?
It's time for something very different. I recently went to China and was able to drive a few electric cars during my short two week trip and one of them was the Wuling Bingo (or Wuling Binguo as it is known locally in China 上汽通用五菱-五菱缤果).
It's a 5 seater hatchback EV that can go more than 410km (or more than 250 miles) on a single charge at its highest trim level with the 37.9 kWh LFP battery pack.
The version I was able to drive was the middle trim with the 31.9 kWh LFP battery pack and a rated range of 333km (206 miles).
So how is it to drive? Is it just a cheap electric vehicle from China that is all hype but no substance?
Watch the video to find out as we take the Wuling Bingo on a electric car EV road trip from Liuzhou, Guangxi, China to a small town to visit family.
But I guess Wuling is onto something with the Bingo since the car is currently being sold in Indonesia and the Philippines with more international markets coming soon!
