Publicity campaign of pokali waterfall through documentary

We have prepared this video material on the documentary prepared by Pokali Jharna Sewa Samaj about the plans for the beautification of Pokali Jharna in Likhu village, a tourist destination of Okhaldhunga. The Pokali waterfall of Okhaldhunga in the eastern region of Nepal is the second tallest waterfall in Nepal. It is 131 feet high. Pokali Jharna Sewa Samaj, established in 2063 BS, has developed this area as a tourist destination of Nepal by promoting this waterfall.

The government may not be able to provide employment to thousands of people by opening factories immediately, but if it identifies beautiful areas full of natural, archeological, religious, cultural and geological heritage in different parts of the country and makes them a destination of quality tourism, then the foundation of the prosperity of the country can be laid. From there, local people can create self-employment. The unique resource given to us by nature can be a sustainable source of income. Nepal's tourism business can flourish through our archeological, religious, cultural and geological heritage.
Lately, the number of people who have been attracted to this sector in Nepal has also started increasing. There are many ways to attract tourists to Nepal, including tangible and intangible cultural heritage, biodiversity, mountaineering, trekking, rock climbing, yachting, paragliding, and bungee jumping. Nepal's religious sector is one of the most popular in the world.

The Pokali Jharna Sewa Samaj, established on the initiative of the Pokli residents of Likhu Village Municipality-9 on the occasion of Poush 11, 2077 BS, hosted the Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Mr. Yadav Prasad Koirala, Member of the Constituent Assembly and former Member of Parliament Ram Hari Khatiwada and former MP Bal Krishna Dhungel, Pokali Jharna Sewa Samaj has completed the program of releasing a documentary on the historical, religious, cultural, natural and tourist areas of Likhu 1 to 9.
